A short YouTube interview clip (Brad Hart of Make More Marvels speaking with Jared Yellen of Project 10K) about Project 10K Elite, a two-day event at Babson College in Miami where 16 experienced entrepreneurs each bring their top three SaaS ideas. The organizers aim to co-found 12–16 companies over two days and recruit Babson students/graduates as operators. Brad emphasizes that many good ideas never get executed and expresses strong enthusiasm for the experiment and its potential to launch otherwise-dead ideas.
What's up, everybody? My name is Brad Hart from Make More Marvels. I'm here with Jared yellen from Project 10K. What's up, Jared? Tell us what we're doing here today.
So we're at Project 10K Elite, which is a really cool experiment. Thank you for saying yes to it. I knew that you were the right person to be here. Like, I'm like, Brad has to come. We'll move the event for Brad. What we created here is a really unique environment. We had 16 track record entrepreneurs. People like Brad who've achieved high levels of success, come out to Miami for two days to be at Babson College at the Miami campus. We then match the energy of these entrepreneurs with our entire leadership team from product 10K, all of which has a track record. And the responsibility of each person like you was to bring their three best SaaS. Ideas, software as a service, ideas. And in these two days, we committed to co founding at least 12 companies, potentially 16 companies, and then giving Babson College students and graduates a chance to apply to become entrepreneurial operators inside of each company. I love that.
And the reason this is so powerful is because everybody who's a successful entrepreneur, I know a lot of these folks. I've worked with them at masterminds all over the world. I coach them, I've worked with them on companies. I've raised money for their companies. Every single one of them has an idea. It's a great idea that will never see the light of day. It'll sit in a notebook or on a spreadsheet somewhere and they'll just never get to it and it'll die inside them. And that's the most because that could have helped so many people. That's the most sad and unfortunate thing about entrepreneurship. You have more ideas and you have time and energy to execute them. So this gives us an opportunity to both bless people with an opportunity to get our ideas out of the world. We all make money together. We all fun together. And I'm more energized as an entrepreneur than I've ever been in my entire entrepreneurial career, because most of entrepreneurship is trying to not get sucked into a rabbit hole on the ideas that aren't good ideas, but they're not the idea that you need to focus on. So, Jared, thank you so much for bringing this to life and thank you for allowing me to be a part of it. I appreciate you so much, brother. Thank you guys for following the journey. We can't wait to give more updates. Stay tuned.
