Risk is relative. And no, not your Aunt Ginny. Alright, you can theoretically die today in a number of ways. Did you know that? Crossing the street, slipping in the shower, lightning strike, shark attack, asteroid landing on your frickin head. Okay, so make sure you're not taking the ultimate risk, which is doing nothing. And make sure your risks are adjusted. Go big on what are called asymmetric risk reward scenarios. So what is that? That's when the downside risk is very small compared to the potential upside. Think of risking a dollar to make five. You can be wrong four out of five times and still break even. But if you're right at least two out of five times you can double your money and so forth. So you're never going to be right 100% of the time. It's all about making consistently good bets with a highly probable outcome where the upside is worth it over time. Think of the Jim Carrey quote I'd rather risk failing at something I love than succeeding at something I don't. Food for thought. Follow me for more.
