Why I Make These Videos

First-person daily vlog by Brad Hart (signing off as Sam) that blends personal development and practical lifestyle content. The speaker documents a post-run routine (running distance, ice baths to reduce inflammation and lactic acid, hydration and electrolytes), describes breakfast details, and explains why he records so many videos—ongoing learning, mentoring, and sharing lessons—while promoting his Make More Marbles channels.

I believe if you have a life worth living, it's worth recording. So this is kind of my daily video journal and but more than that, I want to share the wisdom and insights that come up during the day. Right. I spent a lot of time in personal development and self help and finance, real estate, marketing. I've gone deep on all these subjects. I've spent time mentored by and mentoring some of the top entrepreneurs in the world. I really take this stuff seriously. Alright, back from my run, let's see how I did. Took a lot of stops for B roll today. Normally I do about five miles. Today I'm exactly five mil. Got my ice bath going, got my laundry going, got my green drink, got my water with salt water with lemon. I'm good to go, man. It's ice bath time. So why an ice bath? Ice baths are really good for reducing inflammation, for getting rid of lactic acid. You know that delayed onset muscle fatigue that you get like two days after you work out, that's because of lactic acid. So two ways to break that are to swim and to take ice baths followed by hot showers. Right. You're only as good as your body can hold up to date. Right? So to recap, we have some really great ways to treat your body well. Keep down inflammation and keep fat from building on your body as well as take care of your joints and not feel sore as much after a workout. Just putting the finishing touches on breakfast. This is three eggs with the Cajun fish I made yesterday, the tilapia, and then I steamed up some spinach. I've got the curried zucchini and the avocado. So it's going to be a nice breakfast. And there we go. I make a lot of these videos. I've made hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of videos on YouTube, on Vimeo, on my website. You can check them all out. Make more marvels.com why do I keep making so many videos? Haven't I said all I need to say? Of course not. I'm always learning. I'm always growing, I'm always changing. I'm always investing in new and better systems and processes, learning hard lessons that I can teach to other people to value their life. And ultimately, no matter what I choose to talk about, no matter what I choose to share, the message I put out into the world, somebody needs to hear it. What we know, what we've learned and the blood, sweat and tears and time and energy and attention that we've put into our craft can be shared with the world instantaneously. Like that. Figuring it out, food whatsoever. All right. It is August 6th. This is my last day being 30. It has been raining all day today. Okay, stopped raining. It's time to run. Run a longer run. Today I'm gonna try to do 10 miles. 10 miles. So check this out. In 100% humidity, 75 degrees. Feels like 80. Heart rate can increase by 10 to 20 beats per minute. Perceived effort much greater. Lose electrolytes faster. It's rough, man. You'll find on my channel some really great videos that break down in between 5 and 20 minutes. Really core principles and concepts which can change your life if applied. So I recommend you check it out.
