1:07
God made you for power, love, and a sound mind, not fear. The speaker uses David and Goliath to show what faith looks like: stepping out without waiting for backup. Fear and doubt are lies that keep you small.

God didn't create you to live in fear. He created you to walk in power. But so many of us are walking around like we've been defeated, like we're at the mercy of our emotions, of our past, of our circumstance, what they said, what they did. But that's not what the Bible says. The Bible says in 2 Timothy that God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of sound mind. That means if fear is running your life, it didn't come from God. You weren't designed to hesitate. You weren't built to shrink back. You were created in the image Image and likeness of the Most High God. That means there's power inside of you, but you got to step into it. When David ran at Goliath, he didn't wait for backup. He didn't wait to feel stronger. He said, "I come in the name of the Lord." That's power. That's conviction. That's faith in action. So what's stopping you? Fear? Doubt? What if I told you that those are just lies to keep you small? That God has already called you, anointed you, equipped you, but you have to walk in it by faith because God has not given you the spirit of fear, but a power. Of love and of sound mind.
