You're not alone. Do you know the statistics about people with ADHD in the workforce? People with untreated ADHD lose an average of 22 days of productivity a year. They're also 30% more likely to have chronic employment issues. They're 60% more likely to get fired from a job and are 3 times more likely to quit impulsively over something at work. Adults with ADHD earn 23% less than their neurotypical peers at work. And that's just ADHD. So I have had clients that have multiple issues that affect how they get paid at work. For instance, I've had a client who was a Black woman over 40 with ADHD. So that's 4 things that are affecting the way she's treated at work and the amount of money that she's able to make doing the same job as other people. The good news is that one piece of that that she can change is her support for ADHD. After getting support, this client felt a lot less stressed at work, was better able to communicate with the people around her, be more powerful and effective in her job, and enjoy going to work a lot more.
