Even if you look at industry leaders like Alex Hormozy, love him or hate him, regardless of what he practices, he started with the people that were around him, using ads first. And then he built the huge. Yes, then he built the huge. I love that book.
That's great.
Right?
And Hormozi talks very tactically about what he was doing with that. And he understood that the media stuff, which he invests a lot of money in, was a. An important lever at that stage. While they already had a big foundation. I just held up his book for anybody listening on audio. And I like Hormozi's books. Fun fact. The conference where the dude bombed the hormones were originally supposed to speak. So it was me, Jordan Syed, Lane Norton, Alex and Layla Hormozi that were originally due to speak. And I looked at that lineup, like, holy shit, that felt nice. So to kind of go back to the status side of things. Yes, it can feel incredible, like, to be featured in that lineup, it's sort of surreal. But at the same time, did that really do anything for me? Like, my clients, they don't come to me for that, nor do they even, like, understand. Trainers get it right, but it doesn't matter to the clients. And as it turns out, they had to bail out of that one. But I met them in passing at another event, and they're lovely. They're wonderful people. But I like his books. I like the resources. And as you said, his messaging is not going to be for everyone. But he's also very smart in that he knows who his messaging is for and he repels the people and the people who are crying and criticizing what have you. He doesn't care. Right. It's part of the game for him.
