This is a YouTube video titled "Creating a safe and inclusive community" featuring Beverley Simpson speaking about the challenges of coaching and maintaining a respectful, judgment-free environment for clients to feel safe and supported. The content is a monologue or speech rather than a multi-speaker conversation.
And so we have to be able to have an open space because we know that our clients are going to vent, and we have to be able to do it judgment free. Because If I have 100 clients, and I do, I'm not going to be on the same page with all 100 clients about every single thing that happens. But I can still be respectful and I can still love them and I can still want them to be better people, regardless of where we might have something of a divide. So I think that's one of the other challenges of coaching and trying to keep a community intact is how do you keep everybody safe? Because everybody wants to feel safe.
