This is a YouTube video titled "Creating the Environment for the Community" containing a monologue by Beverley Simpson recorded on September 1, 2023. Beverley discusses how the community environment is shaped primarily by the clients themselves, with coaches facilitating engagement through activities like weekly questions to encourage interaction among members.
We do create, like, the environment for the community, but it's actually the clients that created themselves. Like, our walls are here. And the coaches help kind of facilitate, for example, like, silly little things like question of the week. And it just gets people who are, like, not as comfortable talking to start talking to each other. And the coaches will ask the question on the coaching floor, and then everybody's talking about it, Right? And it might be people that get pulled into that conversation, but, yeah, it really is them that create it.
