A midwife shares her journey from running to competitive weightlifting, starting the sport later in life. The conversation explores the mental side of competing and how she balances training with her demanding career in women's health.
What was that like? Because competing is very intense and it takes a mental toll. So I'm curious, you know, and. And you're doing this during a time of. While you're working as a midwife. So I'm very. I was, I'm curious of, you know, what that experience was like for you, what you learned from it, and how it really propelled you into helping women and specialize in women.
Yeah. So my competing journey, or even, like, my lifting career started when I was probably, I call myself a late bloomer to the gym. I was probably 21 when I actually started lifting. I got into the gym pretty much to enhance my running.
