This is a YouTube video titled "Growing powerlifting community" containing a monologue or single-speaker talk recorded on July 31, 2023, discussing organizing novice and provincial powerlifting meets to build community and provide competition opportunities.
So I've ran that novice meet, and that was, like, the first thing we did as a facility. Like, as soon as we kind of got enough stuff to do it, we instantly ran a meet to kind of start creating that community and give people opportunities to compete. I will probably run that meet again next year, and I will actually be hosting our provincials next year as well in Lethbridge. So that's another part of the facility.
