This is a YouTube video titled "Health Pros, How to Get More Client Leads on Instagram Even with a Small Following" created in July 2025. The content features Beverley Simpson delivering a detailed presentation aimed at health and wellness professionals on how to create compelling conversion content to attract and convert clients without relying on spammy direct messaging. Beverley shares her expertise and client success stories, explaining strategies for effective content creation and lead generation on social media, emphasizing practical steps and mindset shifts for coaches to grow their businesses.
If you're a health and wellness professional who's been semi consistent for at least 30 days posting your content across many or all of the social media platforms, but you haven't acquired a client or client inquiry despite your best efforts to add value, build know like and trust with your best workouts or nutrition tips and your mindset hacks. Then hang out with me until the end of this video and discover how to actually create compelling content that will turn people who've never heard of you before into into client leads even with a small following. And the best part? Do it without spam DMing 100 strangers a day. And don't just believe me, believe my clients. Like Mike. When he first came to me and implemented the Strategy, he generated 15k with free posts and 500 followers and he works just 3 hours a week on this particular offer. Or my other client, Corey, starting from zero all the way up, generated 18k in 30 days using the conversion framework about to unpack in this video I'm Beverly Simpson. I'm a former District Fitness Manager for a national gym running five Manhattan and New Jersey gyms, responsible for bringing in $2.1 million per year just in my region for hiring and developing personal trainers and fitness managers. I was the fastest growing personal trainer to assistant Fitness Manager to fitness Manager to district Fitness manager in just under three years. I've built two multiple six figure businesses online and I've helped hundreds of coaches start and scale a profitable business, whether it's in person, online or a combination of both. And despite the thousands of hours and abundance of how to videos online claiming to teach you how to build a profitable business, the fact remains that the vast majority of smart coaches are struggling. And it seems like success is reserved for the few. In fact, these successful coaches might not even be as qualified as you are. So the real question is why? What have the smart and successful coaches figured out while the majority of coaches are struggling? Because having a successful coaching business requires more clients. And in order to have more clients, your business will need more leads. And the fastest way to generate more leads in your business is with conversion content. Because if it really was just as simple as just post every day, just add a ton of value, build low like and trust, then we'd probably all be flying around in our private personal jets celebrating our biggest month to date. And I probably don't have to tell you that that's plain and simple not happening. And the best part? You don't even need a massive following in order to generate interest in your products and Coaching services. Because when you implement conversion content, your DMs will be flooded with your champagne clients who are in an urgent problem and ready to have it all fixed by your products and services. In fact, one of my clients, when she implemented this strategy, she had over 100 comments and DMS that Instagram thought she was spamming when she was trying to respond manually to all of the people that were commenting on her post. So while other programs teach you to DM a hundred strangers a day and I get why no one can buy from the Internet's best kept secret and it's important that we increase our visibility and introduce ourselves to the Internet. But that takes so much time when you can half the amount of time and effort and create compelling content that attracts, connects and converts your ideal clients and they come to you and watch your DMs flood. Because I've had clients get clients from just one video. In fact, one of the past clients would post three times a month on Instagram and every time he posted he would get a client inquiry in DMs and get clients from that post. And half of them weren't even him talking on camera and they weren't even showing his face. Now, if you're anything like me, when I first started posting content online, I was sharing my most vulnerable stories. I was posting every single day. I was really focusing on building know like and trust and relationships. But despite my best efforts, it was only my mom, my husband and my colleagues liking and commenting on my posts. And I don't know about you, but the last time I tried to buy my groceries with likes and shares, it didn't go that well. It wasn't until I started creating conversion content that was specifically designed for my champagne client, meaning designed for the client in an urgent problem and wanted a specific outcome. And I didn't just tell them I was an expert. I showed them by giving them results in advance, by shifting their perspective by and staying consistent in my cadence. And that's when my DMs started to flood. But the truth is, most people won't even begin to create conversion content for a couple of reasons. One, they're told that they need to just add a ton of value and build know like and trust without fully understanding what that actually means. And two, they don't want to feel icky, sleazy or silly or feel like they're constantly annoying people with their promotions. Plus they were told that it will drop engagement on social media social platforms if they're constantly promoting their stuff. So if that's you, then definitely you're not alone. And maybe you feel like this too. You don't want to annoy people or feel icky or promote or sleazy or selly. And maybe you even feel like you bought into this business to coach, not to be a content creator. So if that's you, then you're definitely not alone. And I'm about to show you how to master the science and art of selling without selling. Because people love to buy things, but they hate to be sold to. So let's get into it. So this is typically how people perceive and receive content. It's just like the tip of the iceberg. That's what we see. But what's underneath it is often what really matters when it comes to crafting conversion content. So the first thing we want to do is decide on who you are and what essence you want to bring to the content itself. This is your content is stemmed from your identity. This is that idea of be the niche because you are uniquely you. Then you get to decide what it is that you stand for. This is the line in the sand. This is your way, your message. So think of your message like a vehicle. The vehicle is going to take you from point A to point B, and the only way to move the vehicle is with gasoline. And gasoline is like copywriting. Copywriting is the language that is used to deliver the message. And the more specific you are with the language that you use, meaning you are specific in the problem that you are solving and the outcome you're delivering on, the more you will connect to your ideal client's subconscious and you will position yourself as not only the expert, but the authority, the leading authority in your expertise. Now, of course, one of the main misconceptions is just add a ton of value. Of course, add value. The problem here is that most people get stuck on the truth about what value is. Because if it really was as simple as just put a buy button on your website, then we'd all be millionaires. And when your content is a bunch of how to and educational tutorials, then you run the risk of sounding like Google or the encyclopedia. And when was the last time someone said the encyclopedia was my favorite book? Chances are, probably not. And if your content sounds like Google, you also run the risk of sounding like the thousands of other health professionals who are doing similar things that you are. And the last thing we want to do is become part of the echo chamber of noise in social media, because then you are left unheard and unseen and you can't buy from the Internet's best kept secret. So what we really need to do is understand the truth about value and how to put a conversion content piece together. Now, if you've been on the Internet for a second, you've likely seen the content formula, that's famous hook value call to action. So this is what it looks like in terms of conversion content. So now we're going to unpack the truth about what value actually looks like, starting with the hook. The the hook means that you have zero to three seconds to stop and grab someone's attention and then you have three to seven seconds to really keep it. So there are four core places that you can really utilize using a hook, which is the first is the first thing that you say. The second thing is what you do and how you say it to grab the attention. The third place is the first line in your caption, depending on where this, this piece of content is living. And then the fourth place, which is also undervalued and used, is the title and the screen that you can read. And the good news is when you maximize those four spots, you don't necessarily have to repeat the same thing across all four places. Gives you opportunities to have micro hooks, a hook within the hook. Then depending on the type of content, meaning if we are being bold and polarizing and shifting a perspective, meaning people think that they have a bunny, when in reality they have a duck. Another way is they think that they all have a six, but when you look at it from a different perspective, it's really a nine. So sometimes when we have those bold clothes claims, we need to empathize and understand and show why they have that belief. Then it's not enough to say because I said so, we actually have to discredit the belief and back up the claim. And in order to shift perspective, then we introduce the new way, which is the new way of thinking and then the new actions to take. Then we back up the claim with the power of the cuz. How do we know that now it's not enough to just give them all the information, we need to create the gap. Now the gap is the reason for the next step. If you want them to DM you, to comment, to like, to share, to go download, whatever, then what happens is we need to shift perspective and create a reason to take that action. Then we begin to have call to action, which is the direct ask to invite them to the next step. People get really twisted about this idea of promotion and asking and inviting and selling because they don't want to come off sleazy. So the issue here is that if you think that asking someone to say yes to themselves because the ask isn't about you, it's about the client in a problem and you think that that's not valuable, then it is a direct reflection of the revenue that's coming into your business. Imagine if you went into the grocery store because you needed the ingredients and they didn't have them for you to buy, they wouldn't let you buy them. That is how we act on the Internet. So the truth about value is value is we give them results in advance. So show them the wins and we invite them to say yes to themselves to the next step. Because now you've deepened the sense of buy in in your process. The second thing that we've done is we shifted perspective and we've provided clarity. The third thing that we do is we give them a reason and show them the truth and importance of taking the next step. Then we can organize our piece of content into these five categories. Polarizing, shifting, perspective Connection content where we show where we are relatable and aspirations. The how tos and value ads. These are the educational pieces of content that give people results in advance and then the motivational pieces of content. This is what inspire people to take quick action. Now obviously I can't promise that when you try something like this that you're going to make 10k overnight because there are other important factors like offer systems, structure, skill. But we all know that if you want to build an online business, you will need to connect and talk to people leads and why not reach new people for free with just your content. So I probably don't have to tell you that creating content is pretty important. But it doesn't have to be hard or take a ton of time. Especially if you're anything like me and you got into this business to coach, not be a content creator and I got the capacity with clients and time as a mom of two young girls pretty quickly. And if you're already at capacity with time and trying to find leads as it is, then you definitely don't have time to waste by creating content without intentions to convert. And you definitely don't have time to continue to do it the slow way, especially since you're investing time that you can't get back and you might even be leaving thousands of dollars on the table without even realizing it. So this framework alone is like gasoline to a car and it's just the beginning of generating consistent and predictable income month after month. Even without fancy funnels or high tech systems and even with a small following. And the best part, you just don't have to DM 100 cold strangers in order to make this work. So if you're stressed or worried or concerned about time or how to know whether or not this is working and where to actually pull the levers to increase performance in your conversions, there's so much to cover in just this one video that I am attaching a bonus training that I give to my customers and to my clients. Because once you see how easy it can be to implement conversion content, you'll be able to get started today and see people raising their hands in the comments and in the DMs or private messages without you having to reach out to a single cold lead.
