This is a YouTube video titled "How Sharelle Grant Became Addicted to Long Distance Running" containing an English conversation between Sharelle Grant and another speaker discussing the meditative and performance aspects of long distance running, highlighting personal experiences and feelings about running.
And whilst I definitely like wanted to change my body composition at the time I got addicted to the performance side of running so I loved my watch telling me I'd hit like a new 5K record or that my cadence had improved or I felt better. I could notice fitness changes in me like I felt faster and light and athletic and I really loved that about the running side so I got into long distance Running was like my forte. I loved being being outdoors in nature and just like the meditative feeling of like the, the 30k runs like I just felt invincible on the weekend did you have a similar experience?
The meditative experience like.
That moment?
I mean honestly if I, if I'm being completely honest with you even now that is something even as I practice meditation that state of your conscious mind shutting off and you're just running and in a, in the zone I still chase that and that for me that feeling comes from running.
