Beverley Simpson, a district fitness manager, talks about balancing full-time parenting with a growing career. She shares what she's learned navigating the conflicts between the two, drawing on her own experience managing both.
Oh, yeah. So now I discovered this. Right. And then I'm starting to have this intersection of feeling like, how am I supposed to be a, you know, the full time. A full time parent as well as contribute to society. Right. And. And the thing that I felt very conflicted by was this concept of. Of, you know, feeling. It was like I. I felt very pulled in this sense of. Of I love my job, because I did. I really love my job, and I love being a parent. How can I make both work? And it was just this very interesting conflict within me. And so then. And so then I stayed at work for a lot, like, as a district fitness manager for a year. A year, you know, a year with parenting.
