This is a YouTube video titled "In your presentation, decisions are made" containing a monologue or talk from July 11, 2023, discussing techniques for engaging an audience during presentations by pacing information and using rhetorical questions to facilitate decision-making. The excerpt features a single speaker and focuses on presentation skills and audience interaction.
They're usually the three things that are getting in the way. Not enough pain, not enough desire, or an underlining objection that they're believing that is stopping them to make the next thing. So if we come back to decisions, decisions is about, as you move through the presentation, rather than seeing it as just a whole, you know, let's open the fire hose of information on our audience. You actually pace yourself and you have moments of pause where you actually ask questions of the audience. And they could be rhetorical questions. So there could be a question like, you know, in hearing, you know, in hearing this information about this topic, wouldn't you agree that if we could make this decision, then that could create this type of result in our life? Who here can see that? And people would be like, yeah, I can see that. Right. And so it's like, it's a rhetorical question. It's not like a full question, but you can ask real questions as well.
