This is a YouTube video titled "Instagram Coaches The Good and the Bad" containing a monologue by Beverley Simpson recorded in January 2024. Beverley discusses the realities and challenges of online coaching, critiques unrealistic influencer portrayals, and emphasizes promoting integrity and quality information in the coaching community.
She passionately started online coaching because she had a nice ass. And now she had one certification and she had one business mentor that told her she can get to 10k in 3 hours. And now that she's coaching online, she's showing people what I eat in a day and what my training looks like. And I'm like, Susan, you're 55. You're in menopause, you got four kids, you've got two businesses, you've got a husband that you don't communicate with. Do you really think you're going to be able to live the life of this influencer? Like, it's just not realistic. So I got to snap back people back into place constantly. And that's why every week, I don't know if you've seen it, but I'll share my 10 favorite accounts that week with people and I'll say, if you want to follow somebody, go and follow these 10 people because they're doing it the right way. They have integrity, they're delivering quality information. They're not selling you bullshit. So I try to promote other accounts constantly because I don't want people to just hear it from me.
