This is a YouTube video titled "John Brink to Compete at The Arnold" containing a monologue by John Brink recorded in July 2023. John discusses his bodybuilding comeback after Covid, his upcoming competition at the provincial level aiming for nationals and the Arnold, and shares a lighthearted exchange mentioning someone named Beverly, but no direct conversation with Beverley Simpson is present.
And then obviously what happened is Covid. And then I started all over again here about six months ago, and I'm well underway now. So I'm going to compete again end of November on a provincial level, which I hope will qualify me for the nationals and the Arnold. And again, you know, I have to work harder than the other guys because the category that I'm in is 50 and older because all the other guys are gone or laying on the couch or dead. Right? So the. I say that respectfully. So. But you know something, Beverly? Between you and me and the gate coast, I think I'm gonna win. Oh, it is done. It's already done. You've spoken the word. I can't wait. So that's. That's basically. But I feel good about it. Not so much that I look so good on it, but it keeps me healthy.
