This is a YouTube video titled "Mastering Complex Movements Unlocking the Secrets to Corrective Exercise" containing a conversation involving Beverley Simpson and another speaker discussing strategies for acquiring complex movement skills and corrective exercises. The discussion focuses on the challenges and simplifications in learning such skills.
How would you recommend someone who is trying to acquire the skill, learn the same skill? Like how what are some of the biggest things that really helped you along your journey to acquire that skill?
Yeah, I think it's a good one because I mean it is really complex when you get down to the, the nitty gritty, like, you know, oh, like you know, internal rotation to hear abduction, adduction, you know, all this stuff, you know, and it's like, you know, this joint on that joint but not that joint on this joint, like movement and stuff like that and it gets really crazy. And you know, it's, it's, it is complex and but I, I love to tell my clients that literally every like corrective exercise that we're going to do is basically the same thing. We're just going to put you in different positions and have you do the same thing over and over and over.
