This is a YouTube video titled "Maximizing Instagram Engagement with User Generated Content" containing a monologue or single-speaker discussion recorded in May 2025. The speaker explains how brands adapt to Instagram's constantly changing algorithm by using user-generated content (UGC) creators to test different content styles and increase engagement, emphasizing the experimental nature of social media marketing.
And I think, you know, again, it's, it's just what happens on Instagram. Everybody, including the brands, know that the algorithm is changing literally every single day. So them knowing that, but also just knowing this is a need. Like, we can't just sleep on, you know, posting Instagram reels because we're only getting a thousand views as opposed to other brands getting 10,000 views. Right? Like, they're constantly marketing is all testing, right? Throwing spaghetti on the wall. So brands know that and by them hiring UGC creators, it actually just opens up this whole door of possibilities just because they're testing so much content, testing, you know, different styles of content based on the UGC creator, different faces in their content. So it's really a win, win for the brand. Even if you give them a video and it doesn't like, go viral, right? Like, I don't ever expect my content to go viral, though I would love it and the brand would love it. I just, there's not that pressure.
