This is a YouTube video titled "Older Athletes and Training" containing a monologue or single-speaker discussion from June 29, 2023, focusing on coaching differences for older clients compared to younger ones, and challenges in the coaching profession related to business sustainability. The speaker discusses training nuances and industry observations but does not include Beverley Simpson or multiple speakers.
And I think that I'd love for you to expand a little bit more on, you know, what are some of the training differences as a coach? Like, what are some of the things that we could be paying attention to to help serve our clients in this population that perhaps is different than their 20s and 30s? I also think, you know, just my opinion and, you know, full disclosure, this is my opinion, is that this tends to be a younger profession, mostly because of a the barrier of entry is pretty minimal right now in terms of getting in, you know, becoming a coach and, like, doing this work. And also, it's it can be until you start systematizing and figuring out your business and actually run it like a business, it can be a grind, and and people get out of it much faster than actually staying for the long haul.
