On eating too much food for disease

Kim and others discuss how overeating relates to disease and metabolic health, including how GLP1 medication changes eating habits. They explore the tension between dietary choices and mental wellbeing when managing illness.
That's why, you know, we can't do it. But you'll find if you treat someone's disease, before you know it, they are eating nutritiously. And do I think that they have just the same amount of right to be able to go to McDonald's and have some fries as anybody else? Yes. If they're working metabolically, and I know that there are people that are in a smaller body that can eat whatever they want. Right. Then of course the exact opposite can be true. And they never gain weight. Right. So if my body is working correctly and for the most part, I'm focusing on protein and nutrition and moving my body and then my mental health. Right. If all of those are things are happen, then of course I can have some French fries. Right.
You know what, Kim?
Also the great thing about a.
GLP1 medication, you can go to to have a meal at McDonald's and then you're not obsessing and you don't want to eat another bag of fries and another bag of fries because it's just a fixation.
Eat it and then it's done.
You hit a wall.
You just. I could have three fries I like. Sometimes I'll go and I'll be like, I want a big fry.
