This is a YouTube video titled "Overcoming podcast insecurities" containing a discussion between at least two speakers sharing insights about personal storytelling and client perspectives, recorded on December 13, 2023. The speakers reflect on the importance of owning one's unique story and recognizing the value others may find in it. There is no indication that Beverley Simpson is one of the speakers.
And I think the reminder and the lesson for us here is we have to start where we are with the story that we have. Maybe it's not the story someone else has, but it's not supposed to be the story that someone else has, because then it wouldn't be your story.
I also think something that you said that is so powerful that people forget is that. Is that we're so close to our own stuff, and what you think doesn't matter or isn't powerful is not the same as what your clients will think is powerful and. And meaningful.
