This is a YouTube video titled "Standing Out in a Competitive Landscape" containing a monologue or personal reflection recorded in February 2025. The speaker discusses challenges related to vulnerability, competition, and the mindset of high achievers, focusing on feelings of self-doubt and the fear of criticism. There is only one speaker present, and no indication that Beverley Simpson is involved.
Sometimes it's very hard for me to share stories with because there's also parts of me that feel like I don't want to show a hint of weakness, a hint of oh, maybe she doesn't know what she's doing. Because for me, it feels like is a door or area of opportunity to expose and open myself up for. For criticism or for whatever. It's. It's my protective shield. However, I'm sharing this with you because it's part of my breakthrough in this topic, specifically around competition, or feeling like there's too much noise, or feeling like why even bother when. When there's someone out there already who's smarter, better than me. Because I think that this is the high achiever, Achilles heel, if you will.
