This is a YouTube video titled "The biggest difference Online vs In person training" containing a discussion between two speakers about the differences between online and in-person training, focusing on control and form adjustments. The conversation appears to be an interview or dialogue about fitness training methods, recorded in March 2024.
What are some of the biggest differences from training online versus training in person that you have found? And what would you say to someone who's new to the online space? Like, how. What would you wish you knew when you first started training online?
So the biggest difference, I think, is that online, you. You have to give up more control over the way the client's workouts go than you want. Like, I'm someone who's a bit of a stickler for doing. Doing things right and the form is, you know, a certain way and obviously it's different for everyone. But, like, in person, I can make adjustments on the fly and okay, move your knee this way, squeeze this, put your back this way. Like, I can do that with a person in person and online. Like, yes, I've got, you know, detailed form videos and instructions and we can do form checks and all the things, but I can't be there live with the person to, you know, poke them and cue them instantaneously to do that.
