This is a YouTube video titled "The challenges of parenting" containing a conversation between two speakers discussing the personal experiences and adjustments related to parenting, including taking time off work after the birth of a child and managing the challenges of having a newborn and toddler. The speakers share insights on balancing work and family life.
It's been an adjustment. I took. I took three weeks off when my son Austin was born, and it was a. It was a really freeing thing for me, actually. Like, going back to some of these, like, aha. Moments in the business over the past year was very freeing thing for me that I actually took three weeks where, like, I came to the gym twice, but only just to pick things up. I didn't come in here because I needed to manage anybody. I didn't have any fires to put out. I've got great staff here who I know are taking good care of the business. And it was like, a freeing moment to be like, okay, I can step away. Things are okay. It's not the end of the world if I take some time off. So taking those three weeks for me was huge. And then obviously transitioning back in, still trying to get my footing in terms of just sleep and just having a busy toddler. It's. Anybody who's got a newborn and a toddler, it's a whole different game.
It's the worst. My kids are now six and eight, turning seven, so almost step seven and nine, which is.
