This is a YouTube video titled "The Importance of Authenticity in Evergreen Marketing" featuring Beverley Simpson discussing ethical marketing practices, specifically focusing on creating genuine deadlines in evergreen sales models and avoiding misleading tactics. The content emphasizes honesty in marketing and the value proposition for health and wellness professionals.
When you're in an evergreen model, there are things that you can do to cultivate and create deadlines that are real, not fake. In fact, it goes against FTC guidelines. If you are faking that you're really there and you're not, that is against FTC guidelines. That is misleading, misleading marketing. We don't want to do that. We want it to be real. We want it to be honest. And so the ways that you can do this are things like, that's why people like programs like Deadline Funnel exist, because you can set it where, hey, you're going through your own personal launch at your own personal time and you have 90 to six months of time before you can get access to that deal again. You see this happen a lot in brick and mortars. Now that that tends to not. And when I say brick and mortars, I mean like, haven't you ever bought a pair of jeans or bought a pair of leggings and then the next week they go on sale and you're like, you see that a lot, right? And so because of that feeling, I don't tend to do that. I don't tend to be like, okay, you get it on sale and then in a week you get it on sale. I actually kind, I actually come from the opinion that helps and wellness professionals specifically already undervalue their, their products and services. So I don't really particularly love to create discount. I think of it more as, as what is the value that you can put in that's 10 times worth the asking investment that you know it's going to be there and then pre sale it.
