This is a YouTube video titled "The power of emotion" containing a monologue or talk recorded on October 20, 2023, discussing how emotions are evoked through imagery and emotional words, focusing on the brain's emotional processing. The content features a single speaker and does not include Beverley Simpson.
An emotional experience is not evoked through talking about. Through using emotional words like overwhelm. An emotional. An emotion is evoked through two things. The power of imagery. Because the right side of your brain is where the emotional life lives. And that is accessed through imagery. So photos as well as the thought. Get into. Get into the feeling by eliciting the thought.
