This is a YouTube video titled "The reality of reaching plateaus" containing a monologue by Beverley Simpson recorded in January 2024. Beverley discusses the non-linear nature of progress in business and personal goals, emphasizing the importance of patience and perspective during plateaus.
I just always ask people, like, what more are you willing to do? The reality is sometimes we have to sit at the top of the mountain and watch the horizon for a little while and enjoy where we got to. I think people always think that because they have a coach, they're going to see this linear progression on a weekly basis. And that's just untrue. Like, your business is not going to grow on a linear business. Your weight loss is not going to happen on a linear basis. So none of this stuff is ever going to be in this perfect upward slope.
