This is a YouTube video titled "The Shocking Truth About Alcohols Impact on Your Sleep" containing a monologue or talk discussing how even small amounts of alcohol negatively affect sleep quality by disrupting brain function and circadian rhythms. The content appears to be an informative explanation rather than a conversation.
It's got to be the worst thing you can do. And I'm not talking again. Forget problematic drinking. I'm talking those one or two drinks, even one drink, Matthew, as soon as you have one drink you're going to destroy your sleep. So alcohol is a sedative. So what? It actually does, it sedates your brain. That's totally different to sleeping. That's why you might have those couple of drinks and think, oh, it knocked me out for eight hours. And you wake up feeling groggy and tired and you're a bit confused why that happens, what is actually happening. The alcohol scrolling into your system, which is a poison, which is a toxin. To withdraw from that and remove it from your brain means it's disrupting all of those sleep patterns, those cardiac rhythms as it were, circadian rhythms. So you're actually getting this really broken sleep. But the broken sleep is so short lived.
