This is a YouTube video titled "The Surprising Impact of Clear Communication on Your Relationships" containing a monologue or talk by Beverley Simpson recorded on June 7, 2023. Beverley discusses the importance of clear intentions and communication in interpersonal relationships, illustrating how misunderstandings can arise even when speaking the same language.
And I think that so long as your intentions are one clear to you, but clearly communicated in a way that another person understands them, that allows you to leave a positive impact in the way that you meant to do something. Right. I think a lot of people, and we can talk about this in a very kind of clear context I would say, is like, we're both speaking English right now, right? You understand what I'm saying? But I might say something that means something different to me than it does to you. Like to give this example, right? If something were to happen, let's say in your family dynamic, you have permission to kind of make your own choices, even if they wanted you to be at something. So let's say something crazy happened, and your mother called you and said, hey, I know you're super busy, but we're having this event.
