Training with Minimal Pain: Resources and Tools for Self Management

How to keep training when you're hurt and can't see a doctor. The video covers adjusting your program around pain, tracking your injury history, and managing without constant medical help.
How much book that's about training is just about training. It doesn't involve injury. It's like if you have a and stop doing what you're doing, go see these medical. So there's not really many resources out there for that in between zone where the person's like, well, it hurts, but it doesn't hurt that much. I can still do stuff and want to do more. Should I actually go to a doctor or physio? Should I actually go to get imaging done? Do I need an MRI on everything all the time? Probably not. So what do I do in that situation? I adjust the exercise. How do I adjust my training program? What do I do if I don't want to go to see these people or if you live in an area of the world where you can't access that very easily. I'm in northern Alberta outside of the city of Edmonton. There's a lot of rural communities where finding a physiotherapist might be a two hour drive or a four hour drive. So that's not going to be a daily thing for a lot of people. So if that's not possible, what do you do to manage your own training? Can you change your training program up to reduce some of that irritation? Can you adjust the exercises? So there's not many books out there or programs out there that do that in between that post rehab mindset or direct people on where to go. So our goal is to be able to give people resources and tools to be able to manage their own training and manage their own injury history. So if they can do that to their own possible bodies in a way that reduces their likelihood that they need to just avoid training or go into medical all the time and do something about their own training, fantastic. That's accomplished every goal I would hope for.
