This is a YouTube video titled "Uncovering the Real Goals of Powerlifters You Wont Believe the Key to Winning" containing a monologue by Beverley Simpson recorded on June 17, 2023. Beverley discusses the true desires and mindset of powerlifters, focusing on confidence, belief, speed of implementation, and effort required to achieve their goals.
What is the outcome like? What is it that they want for real? Right? And if you're treating training power lifters, then they don't want red lights, they don't want, they want to get on the platform with confidence. They don't want to choke. They want to, you know, potentially win whatever, all those things, right? So what is it that they want then? They're also asking themselves either consciously or subconsciously you do this too, right? Which is what is the level of do I have belief in myself that I can do it? Number three, which is I think the most important is and the most, the most important lever that you can pull is speed. What is the speed of implementation to get them to the desired outcome? That's it, right? That's the number one. And then they're also looking at what is the level of effort and sacrifice required on my part.
