This is a YouTube video titled "Uncovering the Secret to Finding Local Coach Education Courses" containing a monologue by David Johnson recorded in June 2023. He shares his personal experience of searching for affordable continuing education opportunities locally and his initiative to create a directory to help other coaches find such resources more easily.
So when I, when I had to refill some CEUs and, and renew my certification that that year I didn't know where to look for events or courses that were local to me because at the time I was pretty broke, didn't have any money to travel anywhere. So I ended up just searching and saving bookmarks to look, look through every week, hoping to find some education near me. And that's when I decided to kind of compile that all into a directory that other coaches can use as like a one stop shop to find continuing education.
