This is a YouTube video titled "Uncovering the Surprising Role Art Played in My Life" containing a personal monologue or reflection recorded on June 4, 2023. The speaker shares childhood experiences related to family dynamics and how art served as an important emotional outlet. There is only one speaker present, and the content is introspective rather than conversational.
And so, for me, that was a great outlet, especially as a kid. My mom was a single mother with three kids, and I didn't have a dad. And so I was kind of always felt like I wasn't good enough because my dad didn't want to be my dad. And I thought something was wrong with me, and that my mom was so busy with my siblings that I was very, very independent from a young age. And so that was that outlet for me. And so I started to examine, like, well, well, why was that so important to me? You know, what am I not working through? What am I not addressing? And so, you know, I would just reflect on, like, what is. What are parts of feedback that people have given me throughout my life.
