This is a YouTube video titled "Uncovering the Truth About Coaching: What High Achieving Coaches Don't Tell You" containing a conversation between Beverley Simpson and another speaker recorded in May 2023. The discussion focuses on the challenges and growth experiences of coaches, emphasizing learning from mistakes and the importance of openness and continuous development in coaching.
Sometimes high achieving coaches, if you're anything like me, you start to feel like, oh, I just need one more certification. Or you might listen to this and think, oh, I'm not ready yet. I can't help people. But everyone starts somewhere. And that. And there have been times in my life where I have absolutely screwed up being a coach, where I tried to force them to do this one way or I did try and control an outcome. And I'm so grateful for that experience because I learned and I grew from that. As long as you continue to stay in an open mind of how can I grow, how can I live in the end, how can I continue to expand? That is part of what makes you exceptional. And everyone lives, everyone starts somewhere. Yeah, absolutely.
And everybody has something to give. Like, we can all learn from each other. I learn from my clients every single week. Like, I really do. And like you said, being open to. We're going to make mistakes. We all are.
