This is a YouTube video titled "Uncovering the way people move with Cory Payne" containing a monologue or talk by a single speaker, Cory Payne, discussing his approach to movement assessments and corrective exercises to improve range of motion and functional outcomes. The content is focused on physical movement evaluation and training techniques.
This is something that I do with all my clients is I take them through a movement assessment, and I see exactly how they move. I look at all their tests, and I really use that to guide what I'm going to do with them. As far as the more corrective approach is really just looking at the assessments. And then we do a movement to basically improve range of motion or open up the outlet like I was mentioning earlier, or something like that. And then we retest. And that's super important. Just that retest, always a huge deal. Because if I'm not doing that retest, then I'm just throwing things at the wall and just like, okay, I'll see you in a couple weeks or I'll see you next week. We'll see what happens. Instead, I'm like, we're going to do this assessment. We're going to look at the ones that are the most the biggest deal or the ones that, you know, seem like the biggest limitation. And then we're going to try a drill, and then we're going to retest, and we're going to see immediate results. If we don't see immediate results, you're not going to be doing that drill. That's not the right drill for you, or you didn't do it correctly.
