This is a YouTube video titled "What a new coach should know" containing a conversation between two speakers discussing advice for new health coaches, focusing on developing a wide range of skills and learning different coaching models. The speakers are not identified as Beverley Simpson.
So you know, I want to be mindful of your time, respectful of your time. So I'm curious, you know, for for a new coach who is potentially, you know, new to training, new to health coaching, you know, what would you say? What would be your number one piece of advice that you would want that you wish you had heard when you first started?
Wow, that's a tough question.
Maybe not one, give me like your three biggest like I wish I knew.
This when I first so from a professional perspective I would say try to develop a wide range of skills and abilities. You know, put yourself out there and learn different models. Having knowledge of this model and that model and the other model is just going to make you a more well rounded coach. Some things don't work for people and something else might. So having that knowledge and the skills is going to make you a better provider.
