This is a YouTube video titled "What Coaches Need to Know About Resonating with Clients" containing a discussion from December 23, 2024, where Beverley Simpson shares advice on how coaches can better communicate their message by focusing on their clients rather than peers or mentors. The content involves at least two speakers, including Beverley Simpson, addressing coaching communication strategies.
When it comes to delivering a message that resonates with your audience. What are some tips that you have for coaches that are struggling in that department?
We are oftentimes we're creating for our colleagues and not for our clients. And so the first thing that I would say if you are struggling to really communicate your message, the first thing I would actually tell you is to just mute all your friends and just mute and even mute the people that you look up to just for now. You're not going to mute them forever. We're just going to mute them for a second so that we can really just communicate with the people that we're wanting to work with. Go and talk to the people that you want to work with. I'm saying go and observe your client in their environment. So how do you do that? Well, I'm going to give you some tangible things that a lot of people don't talk about.
