This is a YouTube video titled "What Makes a Conversion Story" containing a discussion between two speakers about the emotional power of conversion stories, decision moments, and narrative impact. The conversation explores how stories of personal change often arise from challenging or darker moments. The speakers are not named Beverley Simpson.
But it's like that is such a more powerful story than the story of working in corporate. And so can you see how like a conversion story has actually got a lot of emotion in doesn't have to be like the corporate story. In fact a lot of the time it's more powerful when you find like a moment of really decision or challenge or an epiphany and it was usually in a darker moment, a moment where you realized you weren't showing up as the version that you wanted to be.
I'm curious, have you ever used stories that you know almost have the reverse effect in the sense of like I made this decision or I didn't make this decision and it caused more pain and then I did a new decision like almost like the anti story.
I mean I'm sure you could I haven't really like gone deep into that stuff but there's no reason why you couldn't like.
