This is a YouTube video titled "Why Focusing on Your 'Yes' Clients Can Change Your Coaching Business" containing a monologue or talk from January 28, 2025. The speaker discusses the challenges coaches face with rejection and the importance of focusing on clients who say yes rather than those who say no, sharing personal experience about launching coaching programs and managing expectations.
It's really important to also remember when we're talking about management of you is how you navigate through disappointment. Because the truth of the matter is that most people will say no. And that's a good thing. You don't want everyone to say no, you want your people to say yes. The problem that most smart and struggling coaches get into without even realizing it is they're spending so much time focusing on all the people that said no, instead of pouring into the people that are there and saying yes. This is actually part of the reason why I stopped launching, because I was getting into that feast and famine cycle of launching and feeling like I need to get 10 people, I need to get. Or I need to get 20 people. 20 people, 20 people. As soon as I get these 20 people, then I'm going to be able to stop doing my one on one consultations. And so then what would happen is I would launch it would pour all this energy into it, and then I would get 10 people and I would think, oh, I can't believe I've only got 10 people. Not celebrating the 10 people who said yes to themselves.
