This is a YouTube video titled "Women in Leadership Roles Strengthening Support for Young Female Players" containing a monologue or speech discussing the importance of having more women in managerial roles to support young female players facing emotional struggles and criticism, emphasizing mental health and community support. The content appears to be a single speaker sharing insights on the topic.
We need more women in the sort of managerial higher up roles who can kind of start to voice these and start to support the players further down because especially you know some of the girls I work with, you know they're coming up through the levels, you know teenagers and going through a lot anyway, you know a lot of emotional struggle anyway regardless of, of you know suddenly being criticized by men they don't know about something they don't know about. You know it's, it's crazy and it, and it's sort of making sure there's enough support for their mental health. There's a community of girls around them who can actually really provide. That I think is really important by the way. I think people are just going to get put off and then we're going to have people starting to play and then giving up before they've even really got anywhere because it's a horror. They don't want to be in that environment.
