Business Brain Intermission

Dave and Shannon take a break from regular episodes to talk about priorities and productivity. They reflect on what it means to step back and recharge before diving into new content.
Greetings, folks, and welcome to Business Brain. I'm Dave.
And I'm Shannon.
Yeah, man. I don't know if this is something we're going to call episode 570 or if it's just going to be a sort of a. Hey there. I've got some travel coming up. We had scheduled time to record our episodes, and we had some of that time eaten by time vampires, as we talked about last week. Yes, we had some of that time eaten by business therapy that Shannon and I needed to do, just the two of us, because sometimes business therapy can be done on the show and sometimes it can't, so.
Exactly. Yeah. So that's how we're good.
Yeah.
So this week we're going to. We're going to take a little break. We're not going to push out two episodes, and we're going to get you ready for when we come back. We're going to talk about. What are we going to talk about, Dave?
Priorities. I. I had an epiphany. Mike Schmitz of, like, Focused in the Bookworm podcast was talking at Max Stock, the conference I was at, and he identified something about the root of the word priority. And that is. It is singular. We talk about priorities.
No such thing.
But there wasn't. It was never intended to be such a thing. So what we will ask of you and us as we go through this week and get prepared to reconnect next week is how do you want to process that information? Yeah, I think that's the question.
Yeah. Yeah. And I know we're also going to be talking about breaking the fourth wall. Breaking through it to get things done, and we have some interesting examples of that. And, yeah, sometimes you just have to come in, kick that wall down to make.
Make time to make the Kool Aid, so to speak.
Got it. So we appreciate you hanging out, listening, and we'll see you on the other side.
We'll see you on the other side. Yeah. Thank you very much again, feedback at Businessbrain show. And keep living that charmed life. And we'll see you next.
