So if you're thinking of selling your company right now, I've got some updates for you. I'm working with four companies right now.
That are all looking to sell.
They've all engaged an M A firm to help them do that. I've actually coached a number of companies over the years that have exited as well.
And one of the things that we're really noticing right now, especially, is the. Based on your revenue or your P L or your balance sheet, those are. Those are important. People are going to pay a multiple of revenue and a multiple of ebitda. But there are other factors that we're noticing. Huge, huge impacts on the valuation that companies are getting. So those are things around your brand and your leadership team, your SOPs and playbooks that you have in place.
It's kind of the Rembrandts in the Attic idea, right? So let's say that you and I were both out looking to buy a chalet at Whistler, and you went out.
And said, you know, you're going to.
Pay $2 million for the chalet.
And I went out and offered $3 million for the same chalet. You might think I was crazy, but what you didn't realize was I went up into the attic in the chalet and I noticed two Rembrandt paintings that are up there that are each worth $2 million each. So in actual fact, the chalet is worth 2 million, and the two Rembrandt paintings are also worth $2 million each.
So I'm willing to pay 3 million.
Bucks to end up with $6 million.
Worth of equity assets. I'll give you the chalet when I'm done. So what we're noticing is how to package up some of that ip.
I call it almost putting your business.
Inside the Tiffany's blue box with the white ribbon.
How do you package up your business and show it in a way so the M and A firm can really.
Help you actually get the highest valuation? And that's the stuff that I'm coaching.
These different companies on.
So if you'd like to chat about.
That or think about that on your own, suggest you do.
If your company's doing at least around.
The $50 million mark in terms of.
An exit value and you'd like an introduction, I've got a couple of really great M and A firms that I can introduce you to that I've sent deals to over the last 10 years will really help you as well. So if you're a strong company wanting to sell in the next year or so, drop me a dm, drop me an email. But think about what you can do with your team to package the company up. Different things that you can do in addition to just having a good P and L and balance sheet.
