Hello and welcome to this new video from Animal Expert. Today we're going to talk about 10 things that dogs hate about people. If you want to know what we're talking about, find out in this new video. Loud noises and smells Hair dryers, vacuum cleaners, cars and firecrackers are some examples. It's normal, since dogs have exceptional hearing and a much more sensitive perception of vibrations than we do. Therefore, any noise that could bother you will surely terrify your best friend. Obviously, there are dogs that have been raised since they were puppies to perceive loud noises and have gotten used to them so they don't get scared. But it's true that most of them do get scared and hate them. The issue of strong smells is also a delicate one. Just like their hearing, their sense of smell is much more powerful than ours. Therefore, any smell that seems strong to you, your dog finds really annoying. Talking too much and not using body language. We often talk to our dog, and while that's fine, if we do it excessively, or if we don't use gestures and short words that the dog can understand, we'll only be overwhelming our friend. They prefer you to communicate with them with your body language, and if you use words or sounds, it's better to use them sparingly and for them to have learned them during their training. Scolding excessively or at the wrong time when we're in a bad mood or angry because they've done something we don't like, we might transmit that anger and negativity to them. Even so, it's important to remember that if we scold our dog after a long time, they won't understand what's happening or what they've done wrong. It's also not good to scold them excessively. It's something that bothers them a lot and can cause stress and fear as well as a lack of routine and consistency. Dogs like to have a routine because it makes them feel safer and calmer. Not keeping to a schedule, scolding him without reason, or giving him inconsistent instructions will prevent your dog from settling down at home and could remain stressed or uncomfortable. Set up a schedule for your best friend. Provide him with good care and always follow the same instructions. This way he won't become restless or upset. Look them straight in the eyes. Dogs really don't like it when we look them straight in the eyes. If you've ever done it, you've probably noticed that they avoid looking at us when we do, but you may have come across one who holds your gaze longer and may even have growled at you. For canines, prolonged eye contact is equivalent to a challenge, a state of alert or fear. Avoid staring at a dog that isn't yours. You could end up getting upset. Excessive Kisses and Hugs There are many things that are normal for us and that we like to do, such as cuddling, hugging, and giving our furry friends lots of kisses. But they don't interpret everything the way we do with dogs. They don't hug or kiss each other the way we do. For them, being hugged and kissed all the time is very confusing, especially if they haven't been used to it since they were puppies. When we hug them, we block and immobilize them. They may take some of it as a game, but to a certain extent, although there are very affectionate and submissive dogs that do accept hugs, most don't tolerate them very much. It's fine to hug them and give them the occasional kiss, but be careful not to overdo it and pay attention to the signs that the dog gives you, such as licking their lips too much, being nervous, or laying their ears back, yawning or even showing their teeth. Things that show that they're not at all comfortable with the situation, not using the leash correctly and walking in a hurry. It's very common to do things wrong when we walk our dog, but we have to learn to correct them if we want to enjoy the walks and not make our furry friend feel bad. Sometimes we keep the leash taut, we constantly pull on it, and we don't let them sniff their surroundings. We also often walk for only a few minutes and are in a hurry to get somewhere or finish the walk. They need plenty of time to explore their surroundings and interact with others, as well as to smell, relieve themselves and play. Avoid rushing and use an anti pull harness if you can't manage the leash properly or if you don't dress them unnecessarily. Of course, if it's very cold or you need to cover some part of your dog's body due to an injury or problem, dressing them in a sweater or special clothing for them, or even special boots is fine and recommended in these cases. What our faithful friends can't stand, or at least most of them, is when we dress them just because or in things that are simply decorative and not at all functional. They don't feel comfortable if they can't walk properly or if they're wearing something they can't take off whenever they want. Some learn to tolerate it, but many don't understand why someone gets too close to them, stares at them or even laughs at them. Even if it's affectionate to us, they don't understand. They just perceive that they're attracting too much attention and get nervous. Groom them very often. For us, it's normal to groom ourselves every day. But for dogs, it's not. They keep themselves clean in their own way. They need their body odor to communicate with others. So if we groom them too often, we're not really doing them any favors. It's one thing to clean them if they're really dirty. It's quite another to bathe them every now and then with shampoos, with scents that we love, and perfume them. They don't like this. They like to smell themselves. And the strong smells of the products we use can bother them a lot. As we've already mentioned, being boring or absent. Dogs don't behave like being bored. They want to do things and spend their time with you. So they don't like it when you ignore them and are boring. Of course they. They hate it when you're away. They're never sure when or if you'll be back. It makes them incredibly happy when you return, even if it's only been a few minutes since they've seen you. But the worst thing for them is, without a doubt, when their real human companion never returns. The worst thing that can happen to them is to be abandoned. They'll never understand why, and it will be very difficult for them to move on and trust humans again. So now you know. Don't be boring and do lots of things with your faithful companion. And that's it for our list of things that dogs hate about humans. What do you think? Do you identify with any of these things? Or tell us what you'd like us to cover in our next video?
