Discover them below and don't forget to download the new Animal Expert app. The Akita Nu is an ancient Japanese breed that has been with man for over 3,000 years. This incredible and beautif dog has taken part in very different tasks, but today it is considered a very popular companion dog. Dogs of this Japanese breed generally have a very strong personality and a tendency to be shy, so they will need to be socialized from the time they are puppies. Akitones don't bark for just anything. If you hear one of them barking, pay attention. It is often said that Akitas are one owner dogs and although this is generally the case, they are sometimes excellent with the whole family. They are very loyal and devoted dogs. Put proof of this is the story of Hachiko, the most loyal dog in the world. The Japanese Shibanu dog breed is one of the six dog breeds endemic to Japan and one of the few that has been around for so many years. Its appearance is very similar to that of the Kitanu, although it is considerably smaller. They are friendly, very active, loyal and somewhat shy. The Shibenu, originally from the island of Tosa, was formerly used for hunting large animals such as wild boar or deer. In appearance it is similar to the Shibenu, but although noticeably larger, it is included among the medium sized dog breeds. It is a very active, agile, energetic and loyal dog. The Eliki Doinu, of medium or even large size is a strong dog with robust and straight limbs. It is thought that its lineage may have come from China, although its origins date back 3,000 years. This is a dog that has historically been used both for big game hunting such as bears, and for hunting wild boar or matchsticks. Its breed is included within the speed. They are very active dogs, easy to motivate and intelligent. They also stand out for being very loyal to their owners. The Kishwinu has remained the local dog of the island that bears its name for hundreds of years. Although it is a dog that is not very widespread in the West. In ancient times its coat had striking colors, but over time the most common varieties have become white, beige and black. Its character is calm with a docile disposition. As long as it gets the daily exercise it needs and is offered company and affection, although depending on the degree of exercise it gets, it can vary. The history of the Tosanu is relatively short. It was created in 1848 from the Shikokuan, the Bulldog, the Mastiff, the German short haired Pointer and the Grange. It is a brave, strong, energetic and very loyal dog. Sadly, it has been used as a fighting dog for generations. The Japanese Spitz descends from the speech variety of dogs that arrived in Japan around 1920. Although it is quite calm, the speech often uses barking as an alarm whenever it detects people or other dogs in the home. Unlike the Samoyed or the American Eskimo, very closely related breeds, the Japanese Spitz is little known. There are many theories about the origin of the Hispano and the Japanese. It is believed that the breed is of Korean origin and that it was given as a gift to Japanese royalty. In any case, its great resemblance to the Pekingese and other breeds of Chinese origin place its origins in Asia. It is a small dog with an active, alert and independent temperament. The can is also known as the Tora Inu and is related to the Japanese Spitz. This ancient hunting dog is part of the country's natural heritage. Although it is not one of the most common breeds in Japan, they are especially intelligent and active, very loyal and tend to be sociable. The last one on our list is the Nippon Terrier. It is a little known breed descended from the smooth haired European fox terriers of the 15th century that were crossed with small native dogs. It is a small dog with a cheerful and lively nature, especially active and playful. And that's it for today's video. What do you think about these Japanese breeds?
