6 SONIDOS que solo ESCUCHAN los PERROS 🐶🔊

Dogs hear ultrasonic whistles, underground vibrations, and prey movements that humans can't detect. Their hearing range extends far beyond ours, picking up sounds from heartbeats to frequencies used in training whistles.
Today on Animal Expert, we reveal the six sounds that only dogs can hear. 1. Sounds from Long distances when you return home, you have the impression that your dog knew you were about to arrive. It's not that your dog senses that you are about to arrive, but that he is able to hear your footsteps, the sound of your keys, and also smell you long before you approach the door. I'm sure that at some point you've also thought that your dog barks at nothing. What almost always happens is that the dog perceives some stimulus and reacts to this perception. But since our senses are not capable of detecting this stimulus, we believe that our furry friend's reaction is to nothingness itself. To give you an idea, our dogs can pick up sounds that occur more than 25 meters away from where they are, which is four times the distance we can hear them. Discover other reasons why dogs bark in the video that we have included in the card. 2. Ultrasonic Whistles unfortunately, these devices have been and continue to be widely used in dog training. Their operation is based on the emission of ultrasonic frequencies, which are precisely one of the sounds that only dogs can hear. While dogs can perceive sound frequencies of up to 70,000 hertz, humans can only hear those between 15,000 or 16,000 and 20,000 hertz. In practical terms, this means that our dogs hear much higher pitched noises than we are able to hear. The problem is that very high pitched sound frequencies, such as those emitted by ultrasonic whistles, are extremely unpleasant for dogs. For this reason, at Animal Expert, we do not encourage the use of ultrasound devices and recommend that you try other safer and more motivating methods for your furry friend, such as positive reinforcement or the use of a dog clicker. 3. Underground vibrations it is true that dogs and some other animals can sense natural disasters, although there is no scientific evidence to support this premonitory capacity. There are studies that suggest that dogs are capable of detecting vibrations or high frequency sounds coming from the ground on these occasions and that are directly related to seismic movements. In addition, it has been proven that dogs ears can pick up up to 35,000 vibrations per second. 4. Movement of their prey Although they have been living with people in domestic or home environments for several decades, dogs still retain a series of instinctive behaviors and several of them are directly related to hunting and all the sensory stimulation involved in this activity. So even if your dog has never had to hunt for food, their hearing is perfectly capable of recognizing even the most subtle noises coming from other animals, such as cats or birds, among others that could be prey in the context of a hunt. 5. Sounds of nature beyond the movements of their prey, there are other sounds that only dogs hear that come from nature. For example, the leaves of trees moving in the wind, bodies of water following their course, the buzzing of different species of insects, raindrops falling on flower petals, the noise made by birds and bats flapping their wings, among many others. 6. Heart and lung Rate Heartbeats are an acoustic phenomenon that occurs due to the opening and closing movements of the heart valves. You may have noticed that doctors who specialize in the health of this organ need to use a device to amplify this sound and find out if there is anything abnormal with it. However, dogs are perfectly capable of hearing these heart sounds without the use of any amplifier. In fact, your dog will detect that your heart rate is increasing, and this is one of the signs that let them know when you are afraid, stressed, or angry for some reason.
