Around a month and a half, old puppies begin weaning naturally and progressively, and this is usually completely finished by the time the dog has reached two months of age. Premature weaning not only has negative consequences on the puppy's immune system, but also on their socialization. Never take in puppies younger than two months old. Second, disturbing their sleep. It is a very common mistake to wake the puppy to cuddle and play with them. This disrupts their body since puppies sleep a lot because they are in the middle of their growth stage and need all their energy available. Up to three months of age, a puppy can sleep 18 to 20 hours a day. If you want to properly care for and educate your dog, it is essential that you respect this rest time. 3. Humanize your dog. A human baby needs to be held in his mother's arms and in constant contact, but a dog is not a baby and unfortunately many people still do not understand this. A puppy needs a lot of care, but it should not be cradled in our arms. This makes it uncomfortable and creates a feeling of insecurity as it loses support by not being in contact with the ground. Another mistake that has to do with humanizing your dog is letting it sleep with you. If you do not want to sleep with your dog when it is an adult, do not let it in your bed while it is a puppy. Among all dog lovers, we can say that this is the most common mistake. Feeding your dog when the human family is eating is a very serious mistake.
