Welcome to a How to video. In this video, I'm going to show you how to open a gate in a horse's arena. In this case, from atop a horse. To open the gate, what we have to do is approach it with the horse. We have to have the horse well behaved and leave a space for it to open. As you can see, we have to hold the horse so it doesn't hit it. And once we're in, we can approach it. And then once we're inside, we can approach it and close it. We do this and hit it with the horse, turn around again and approach the fence so we can close it. And so from atop the horse, we can open and close the gate without having to get down. It's always better to do everything on top of the horse. At least I prefer to do it that way I have more control over it. So I repeat, we have to approach the fence and leave a space. In this case, what we're going to have to do is open the fence towards there. We push and leave enough space for the horse to enter. Let's turn around.
