Hello and welcome to this new video from Animal Expert. Today we'll explain how to make a great soft dog bed by recycling an old sweater. Find out how to do it below. The first step is to find an old sweater that you can reuse. It should be big enough for the dog to lie down completely and it shouldn't be shrunken. The priority is for the dog to be comfortable. Once you have everything ready, we're going to sew the neck of the sweater to seal it well. We'll also sew a straight horizontal line at chest height. It should go from under one armpit to the other armpit as we're showing you in the video. Lets get to the stuffing. We've used polystyrene balls, but you can use the stuffing from an old cushion. For example, we've used the funnel from a 5L bottle to make it easier to pour the polystyrene. We're going to fill from the sleeves so that the balls slide into the sweater by themselves. We recommend that you do not completely stuff the sleeves as we will finish closing them later. We stuff the rest of the sweater and sew the bottom closed using the snaps. We finish stuffing the sleeves one by one and then join them and sew them sa. Then we sew the base of the sleeves to make sure it does not open. Finally, we can decorate it a little more to hide the stitches. We have chosen a fabric and fixed it well with hot silicone. And now our bed is ready. We are sure you will love it.
