Welcome to Animal Expert. In this video, we'll show you how to make a dog collar like this one, ideal for keeping your furry friend looking great at all times. The first thing we need to do is measure our dog's neck. Then we'll take a piece of nylon or polyester ribbon, cut the length of the neck and add 12 more centimeters to be able to incorporate the buckle. We cut it, take a plastic buckle and glue each end with silicone or any other fabric glue. If we don't add those 12 extra centimeters, the collar will be too small. Then we'll take a piece of fabric, measure the part of the collar that the flag should occupy and mark it with a pencil. Since we'll need a square, we'll take one end and move it to the opposite end to draw it. Once this is done, we'll mark about 7cm more. You'll see why later. And we'll cut out the rectangle of fabric. We'll add a little silicone to the lower right corner and fold it like this. We'll seal all the edges and do the same with the lower left corner. Now we glue the top part to avoid sewing it and let it dry. Then we place the necklace on the fabric, pass the excess piece over it and glue it well. Let it dry.
