Although it is highly recommended to keep this area clean, we must be careful as we are talking about a very delicate part of the body. We can start this hygiene routine on the day of the dog's bath. We will begin by using a neutral shampoo specifically for dogs. And we will focus on the areas that get dirtiest, such as the paws and pads. Drying is also very important. First, we will remove excess water with a towel and then we will use the bristle brush to comb and remove the most superficial knots and tangles. Now, with the help of a hairdryer, we will finish drying the paws. Well, it is important to note that the pads are usually an area of the body that dogs do not like to be handled. In addition, the noise of the hair dryer usually stresses them out. And we use positive reinforcement to keep our dog calm. When the hair on the paws is completely dry, use the pin comb again to remove the most complicated knots. Always be careful not to hurt your dog.
